Fastest time to date for Jessie: 18.104 (11-2006)
Since October I have ridden her 9 times and EVERY run except ONE has been in the 18's.
Add one from Stephanie and one from a perfect stranger and that's 10 in 3 months.  She also has 3 others to her name, one in March '06 and two from past years.  I guess that qualifies as "consistant".  I see the possibility of 17's with some little girl.

The above photos show the 3 saddles Jessie won in 2005. The two on the left were Year End Hi-Point saddles won by both Chris and I with the New River Saddle Club. The one on the right is Christopher's 2D Speed horse saddle plus two plaques and some silver conchos from the Scottsdale Saddle Club.

2007:
January 14:  SSC - Our first update for the new year.  I rode Miss Jessie in the barrels and poles only.  In barrels she ran out an 18.818 even with a slight stumble at the first barrel.  That put her at 3rd in the class.  I think this is the first time I have done Pole Bending on her in a year.  She got a very nice 25.004 for the fastest time of our class.  Stephanie has been alternating excercising in the evening between Jessie and Jet to help keep this girl in shape.
January 28th: I played on Jessie today for only two events at New River.  I broke our 18 sec. streak.  As I entered the arena I noticed a buckle that was broke on her bridle.  I went ahead and took the run, but cautiously.  We got an easy 19.2 with no mishaps.  Again, being a bit rusty with Poles she still pulled out a 25.??. February 3rd and 4th is a 2 day barrel event with the APW and the IBRA.  I will ride her both days in the open and see if we can bring it back to the 18's.

February 3 & 4th:  IBRA - We decided to give this 2 day event a try since it was only 10 mins. from our house.  I rode Jessie in the open and we got an 18.8 on Saturday but was in the 3D cracks.  Sunday she did an 18.9 but that put her 5th in the 4D getting one last check with us.  Deann saw her, heard she was for sale and after riding her a bit, bought her for her granddaughter Kaylee.  I know Jessie will do wonderful things for Kaylee in the Pee Wee Rodeos up in Oregon.
